Final Fantasy 7:

- "Crecia, my Love" (by Rhysa Renae Valentine - genre: point of view short-story)

(+ French translation "Lucia, mon Amour" in march 2001 by me, with permission from the author)

Have you ever wondered what a geek like Hojo (of FF7) thought? Well, here's your chance to see it by yourselves. Rhysa gave me permission to translate her interesting fanfiction into French. You'll find the original version (in English) just after my translation.

C'est une fic FF7 originellement en anglais que j'ai traduite car je la trouvais intéressante. Notez que dans cette fic, l'auteur surnomme Lucrécia "Crecia". Si en anglais, ça peut encore aller, en français, j'ai trouvé que ce diminutif sonnait bizarrement. C'est pourquoi dans la traduction, j'ai utilisé le surnom que je donne habituellement à Lucrécia: "Lucia". Après ma traduction se trouve le texte original (au cas où vous voudriez comparer).
Je préviens tout le monde, cette histoire prend le point de vue de... Hojo... mais ne prenez pas tout ça au pied de la lettre. Ce que je pense moi, c'est que dans cette fic, le narrateur reste un hypocrite égoïste jusqu'au bout. Ouais, ce n'est une surprise pour personne: le narrateur meurt à la fin. Hourra, Hourra! *se lève et bondit de joie à la manière de Selphie Tilmitt. Puis elle remarque que les visiteurs la regardent d'un drôle d'air, alors elle s'arrête de sautiller* Ahem... *avec la voix grave et l'air sérieux de Vincent Valentine* Hojo... Repose en paix...

 

- "Final Chance" (by Catriana, Sentora & Agra - genre: adventure)

Status: incomplete at 4 chapters

This looks promising, give it a try! ^_^

 

- "Sink to the Bottom with You" (by Catalina - genre: adventure, romance)

Status: incomplete at 33 chapters

This is one of the BEST fanfictions I've ever read, together with "I know what's beneath the Snowfields" by Zahra. Starring Vincent of FF7, Yuffie, AVALANCHE and the Turks, with some original characters created by Catalina. It's just plainly awesome. I'm a fan of this epic fiction, and am so pleased the author let me post it on my website! ^__^

C'est l'une des MEILLEURES fanfictions qu'il m'ait été permis de lire, en comptant "I know what's beneath the Snowfields" de Zahra. Mettant en vedette Vincent de FF7, Yuffie, AVALANCHE et les Turks, avec quelques nouveaux personnages crées par Catalina. C'est tout simplement une fic longue et passionnante (surtout passionnante!) dont je suis fan, et je suis très heureuse que l'auteur m'ait permis d'héberger cette histoire sur mon site! ^__^

 

- "Water can be expensive" (by Kasa no Miko - april 2001 - genre: comedy)

Warning: hilarious story ahead! ^^ Water can be expensive, but Kasa's fanfiction (starring Vincent of FF7) is sure to be a lot of fun! The author (and webmistress of the "Shards of Dewprism" website) wrote it for me (I was the 1000th visitor of her site)

Si vous comprenez bien l'anglais, cette fic est hilarante! Kasa no Miko l'a écrite pour moi car j'étais la 1000ème visiteuse de son site "Shards of Dewprism". Je le répète, cette histoire est bien écrite et hilarante! En plus, vous y apprendrez des choses très intéressantes sur les différentes sortes de... champignons! Véridique, mwhahaha!
Elle commence avec Vincent (car KnM sait que j'adore ce perso!^^) et se finit avec lui et de nombreux autres persos de FF7. Hum, j'espère tout de même qu'il y aura une suite car à la fin de cette fic "courte" (qui est tout de même assez longue), ils sont tous dans une situation plutôt... désespérée...

 

Hikaru no Go:

- "Beautiful Angel" (author: Angie - oct. 2002 - genre: point of view, shonen-ai)

A short fic about Sai on the Heian days. The original French version is also available here.
